OpenAI Adds WebMCP to Desktop, Launches $35k Agent-Native Web Challenge

OpenAI has announced WebMCP support in the ChatGPT desktop in-app browser, aiming to facilitate the creation of agent-native websites. In collaboration with Vercel, Cloudflare, and others, they launched a 10-day hackathon with $35,000 in cash prizes and ChatGPT Pro subscriptions to encourage developers to build seamless interfaces for both agents and humans.
