Netlify announced a partnership with OpenAI on the WebMCP Challenge, open starting today. Builders can create agent-native web apps or add WebMCP to existing sites.
Incentives include a $5,000 prize pool and up to 3 million Netlify credits. Netlify's CEO said he's excited to see the community build web experiences that thrive inside ChatGPT's in-app browser, pushing the Web + MCP combination to the max.
