OpenAI partners with 6 platforms for WebMCP hackathon with $35k in prizes

OpenAI launched the 10-day WebMCP Challenge hackathon in partnership with Chromium, Cloudflare, Shopify, Vercel, Render, and Netlify to explore the limits of WebMCP usage. The prize pool includes $35,000 in cash, Codex Micros, ChatGPT Pro subscriptions, and other rewards from supporters.
