Mechanical Prosthetic Hand Designed for Amniotic Band Syndrome

A designer has shared a mechanical prosthetic hand for people with amniotic band syndrome. Since patients can still partially move their thumb, the prosthesis transmits this movement through a set of bevel gears and pulleys to actuate the rest of the hand.
