Figure pledges over $1B for data and compute to scale Helix robot dataset

Figure launched the Helix data engine via the Index app to crowdsource the world's largest humanoid dataset. Users can book skilled labor or record their own tasks for compensation. With 16M video uploads across 108 countries and $15M paid to contributors, Figure aims to scale data 100x, committing over $1B to data and compute in the next 12 months.
