Figure has officially launched Index, the largest and most diverse robot training dataset in the world. The platform addresses the challenge that data for general-purpose robots must come from the real world, not the internet.
Key Metrics:
- 16M video uploads, processing 30 mins of video every second
- 264k app downloads across 108 countries
- $15M paid out to data contributors
- Commitment to spend $1B on data and compute over the next 12 months
Index features a live-updating global map of data collection and is now available on the App Store and Google Play.
