Brett Adcock announced Figure is coming out of stealth with Index, billed as the largest and most diverse robot training dataset ever built.

Core thesis: robot generalization is a data problem — the data doesn't exist on the internet and must come from real-world physics sampled globally. Figure previously tried buying data, but vendors couldn't meet the throughput, diversity, or quality bar required by its Helix AI stack. Internal generalization results are said to validate the approach, with details to follow. The app is now live on Google Play and the App Store.
