Goldman Sachs projects China's supply of advanced process wafers (7nm and below) to grow at a 46% CAGR from 2025 to 2035, driven by SMIC's capacity expansion and yield improvements. By 2035, domestic supply is expected to cover 66% of demand (up from 8%), with monthly capacity reaching 410,000 wafers. The model assumes SMIC's yield will rise from 23% in 2026 to 75% in 2035.
