ByteDance launches Doubao Work: An all-in-one AI office agent integrated with Feishu

ByteDance officially launched "Doubao Work" (Doubao Gongzuo), an AI product for office scenarios. The TRAE and Coze teams have been merged into this system, and deep integration with Feishu (Lark) is complete.

- Work Tasks: The Agent reads Feishu docs, sheets, and chats to break down tasks, execute operations (e.g., checking emails, organizing files), and collaborate across apps.
- App Generation: Generates full-stack apps, databases, and deployments via natural language, with configurable permissions.
- Office Integration: Built-in capabilities for Docs, Sheets, and Slides to produce editable, collaborative deliverables (e.g., payroll reports, courseware).
- Skills & Scheduled Tasks: Supports encapsulating professional workflows into reusable Skills. Scheduled tasks can be set up for automation; long-running tasks can be offloaded to cloud desktops.
Privacy & Permissions
- Log in with Feishu account, inheriting Feishu permissions. The Agent can only access files visible to the user.
- Admins cannot view chat history between employees and the Agent.
- Memory function saves user preferences (e.g., writing style) and can be managed or disabled.
