ByteDance launches Doubao Work, an office agent natively integrated with Feishu

ByteDance has officially launched Doubao Work, the first major product since the Feishu and Doubao product teams merged in late July, making it the third tech giant to enter the office-agent space after WorkBuddy and Alibaba's Qwen Office. It spins out Doubao's task feature into a standalone office agent with native Feishu integration: users log in with Feishu and inherit enterprise AI quotas, docs, Bitable, knowledge bases, chats, email and the full Feishu permission system. Features include scheduled tasks, Skills, MCP connectors (WeCom, DingTalk, Baidu Netdisk, etc.), computer control, and local or cloud-computer execution; paid enterprises get Doubao 2.1Pro.
The author demonstrates a real workflow at his MCN company: a KOL analytics pipeline that previously chained a scraping script, Feishu CLI and Codex now runs end-to-end via plain-language prompts — fetching video data into Bitable, batch-analyzing creators, and pushing result cards to colleagues, with repeatable flows saved as Skills. Admins can allocate AI quota per employee or department.
His takeaway: the agent matters less than where your organizational data lives. For companies whose context already sits in Feishu, Doubao Work + Feishu is the best starting point for enterprise agents, and the office-agent war in H2 should be worth watching.
