How to choose the right thinking level for your AI workflows

Advises on selecting models based on two questions: how much "world knowledge" is required and how thorough the reasoning needs to be. Larger models offer more knowledge, while higher reasoning efforts generate more thinking tokens. Often, smaller models with increased thinking can match larger ones, reducing cost and latency.
