Human Brains Need Byzantine Fault Tolerance Amidst Information Noise

Humans are encountering the Byzantine General's Problem at an unprecedented scale. With multiple nation states possessing global surveillance, compromised networks, and ground assets, messages are not only sniffable but can be forged with unprecedented speed and effectiveness. Usable channels are likely to be flooded with noise, and receivers may even get the opposite of the intended message. There has never been a greater need for those who can separate signal from noise using pattern recognition, discretion, and disciplined thinking.
