Hands-on with Samsung Odyssey 3D: Comfortable Parallax but Limited FOV
Darpinian · x · 2026-08-23
A user shared their experience with the Samsung Odyssey 3D (G90XF) display. The usable depth range is larger than expected, though it still suffers from the vergence-accommodation mismatch common in VR headsets. The limited field of view (FOV) means objects pushed close to the viewer may be clipped by the edges, but this limitation also makes the display more comfortable and significantly less likely to cause motion sickness.
