Humanoid robotics shift toward end-to-end control for direct perception-driven movement
aftahi_ai · x · 2026-08-23
The field is moving from hierarchical to end-to-end control architectures, allowing perception to play a more direct role in robot motion and reaction. Combined with whole-body coordination, this could be a major step in building capable Physical Intelligence. A demo of a humanoid driving a go-kart illustrates this progress.
