In a World of Infinite Answers, the Question is the Scarce Resource
every · x · 2026-08-22
Anne-Laure Le Cunff argues that with AI providing nearly infinite answers, the question is now the scarce resource. The basic unit of work shifts from finishing a task to running an experiment:
- Define the question.
- Decide what evidence would change your mind.
- Let AI compress the work of finding out.
The human job is to interpret the result and choose the next question, rather than spending time perfecting a plan.
