After too many DMs asked about it, ianlapham open-sourced Super Vault, a self-hosted source-ingestion and retrieval system for Hermes Agent:
- Collects content from sources you choose, storing original text and metadata locally
- Indexes everything in Qdrant so Hermes can answer questions grounded in your stored sources
- Ships INSTALLWITHAGENT.md with a copy-paste prompt that has a Hermes agent perform the whole install itself — prerequisites, API keys, source connectors, indexing, visualization — and return evidence before claiming success
- Docs explicitly separate what works automatically from modules an agent must configure and test
Great fit for heavy readers wiring personal information streams into agent Q&A.
