Databricks Releases OntoBricks to Transform Unity Catalog Tables into Knowledge Graphs

Databricks Labs released OntoBricks, an open-source tool that transforms Databricks Unity Catalog tables into materialized knowledge graphs. The project supports ontology design and reasoning, exposing these capabilities as tools via the Model Context Protocol (MCP) to connect with AI workflows. This facilitates building smarter RAG or Q&A systems on top of the data lakehouse.
