CBRE's 2026 report ranks Seattle No.2 for tech talent in North America, trailing only the Bay Area. Despite New York leading in total headcount, Seattle holds its spot due to high talent density, the third-largest AI workforce (41,591 workers), and second-highest tech wages. The report also notes a rise in tech sector layoffs.
