Human-Agent Collaboration: How Modern Teams Run Agentic Workflows
JosephJacks_ · x · 2026-08-21
This article explores the new paradigm of collaboration between agents and humans in modern teams. While many teams already use agents for coding, incident investigation, and drafting release notes, a "trust gap" remains where agents provide intelligence but humans still handle execution. The article proposes a modern Agentic Workflow: rules trigger workflows, agents reason and recommend actions, and humans make decisions. The core operating model is "Humans direct, systems structure, agents execute." Agents gather context and suggest actions, while humans prioritize, scope, and decide when to move work forward.
