Google is offering students a free year of Gemini: US students get Google AI Pro ($19.99/mo) with higher limits and 5TB storage, while students in 140+ countries get Google AI Plus. A dedicated Student Hub consolidates study tools, including adaptive notebooks, flashcards, and quizzes. New features include hands-free voice research with Gemini Live and interactive 3D visualizations powered by the Flash model (e.g., DNA structure, pendulum physics). Verification via SheerID is required by Dec 31, 2026.
