Google's free AI offer for students is rolling out worldwide today. To claim it, verify student status via SheerID, sign up with a valid payment method, and get 12 months free — it auto-renews at the normal price unless cancelled. The deadline is December 31, 2026.
Gemini Live also gains hands-free deep research: kick off research with your voice, let it run in the background while you lock your phone, then get notified and talk through the findings out loud.
