Autonomous Vehicle Navigates Tight Indian Traffic in Driverless Demo
sanjeevs_iitr · x · 2026-08-20
Swaayatt Robotics showcased its Deep Xplorer L5 autonomous driving technology navigating tight spaces in Indian traffic. The vehicle successfully performed lane changes, obstacle negotiation, and braking on a narrow road with parked cars, entirely without human presence. The demo highlighted intelligent decision-making, such as avoiding unnecessary lane changes in tight spots. The team plans to test against dynamic obstacles in uncontrolled traffic within a month.
