TrueFoundry Open Sources TrueForge to Slash Agent Token Bills via Context Optimization
Roger_M_Taylor · x · 2026-08-20
TrueFoundry has open-sourced TrueForge, the agent harness used internally to build and run general-purpose agents. The tool targets a major hidden cost in agent workflows: unnecessary token consumption caused by the model re-reading the same data (e.g., CRM rows) repeatedly because the runtime piles them into the conversation history. TrueForge optimizes costs by managing how much context the harness carries forward and how often the model is called. It acts as the runtime layer turning an LLM into a working agent.
