The U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF) introduced the CyberAI SFS scholarship program to train professionals skilled in both AI and cybersecurity. Arizona State University (ASU) is among 14 universities selected for the inaugural awards. The program provides scholarships and research opportunities to prepare students for high-impact careers defending digital systems against AI-driven threats, addressing a critical shortage of roughly 500,000 unfilled cybersecurity roles in the U.S.
