Inspired by Tom Riddle's Diary, Dev Builds an AI Diary That Remembers You via a Local-First Knowledge Base

Inspired by Tom Riddle's diary in Harry Potter, a developer built Dear Diary: you write thoughts naturally, the system remembers them, and later you can ask questions like "What was I working on then?" or "What did I decide about this?" — feeling less like a productivity app and more like a diary that truly remembers you.
The project is private for now, but it's powered by the author's open-source, local-first personal knowledge system Gray Box, with a YouTube demo available.
