AWS AgentCore adds runtime domain and date filters for Web Search
AWS ML Blog · rss · 2026-08-20
AWS launched runtime domain and publish-date filtering for Web Search on Amazon Bedrock AgentCore (v1.2.0). Developers can now enforce allowlists/denylists and date ranges per API call.
Key Features:
- Runtime Domain Filtering: Dynamic include/exclude lists (up to 100 each).
- Publish-Date Filtering: ISO-8601 bounds for result freshness.
Architecture:
Runtime filters merge with admin policies via a layered model: include lists intersect (narrowing scope), while exclude lists union (expanding blocks). This ensures enterprise governance remains intact.
The update addresses strict compliance needs in finance and regulated industries and expands regional availability to Dublin and Tokyo.
