Google gives college students a free year of Gemini AI Pro/Plus

To mark back-to-school season, Google is offering eligible college students a full year of Gemini for free: US students get Google AI Pro at no cost, while students in 140+ countries get Google AI Plus for a year. The company also announced several new student-facing features.
