TrueFoundry has released TrueForge, an open-source agent runtime that acts as the layer turning an LLM into a working agent. It handles the agent execution loop, including model calls, MCP tools, skills, sandboxing, approvals, and context management. The project is MIT-licensed and self-hostable.
