LevelBlue's latest cybersecurity research finds CIOs investing in AI defense while bracing for AI-powered attacks: 62% say the business spent more on responding to threats than preventing them over the past two years; 46% believe a breach will be more damaging without a more proactive strategy; 71% say their adaptive security approach lets the company take greater innovation risks. Yet only about 1 in 5 rate themselves highly effective at defending against adversaries using AI — or at using AI to enhance security — and two-thirds worry attacks are growing more sophisticated.
