HarnessRouter: Open-source unified interface for agent harnesses
ycombinator · x · 2026-08-19
HarnessRouter, a YC-backed project, open-sourced its unified interface for agent harnesses. Implementing the Unified Harness Protocol (UHP), it allows running Codex, Claude Code, Hermes, and more through a single API. Features include session management, streaming, file handling, and failure handling. The self-hosted Community Edition requires no account and has no telemetry, aiming to turn agent harnesses into pluggable product components.
