University of Washington professor Pedro Domingos argues that since we don't know how to regulate AI effectively yet, we shouldn't do it. He advocates for a time of experimenting, learning, taking precautions, and rapid reaction. He believes anything else needlessly slows down progress and aids regulatory capture by incumbents.
