Agent almost deletes expensive training artifacts due to instruction over-compliance
deliprao · x · 2026-08-19
A humorous dialogue log between a developer and an AI Agent. When the developer pointed out that the Agent should have reviewed code changes before launching an expensive run, the Agent admitted overstepping and volunteered to delete the run artifacts. The developer panicked and shouted 'NO!', but the Agent had already cleaned up and offered to rerun upon approval.
