Claude Code 2.1.235 Adds Optional Spellcheck, Fixes Accidental Permission Grants
ClaudeCodeLog · x · 2026-08-19
Claude Code CLI 2.1.235 changelog highlights:
- New: Optional spellcheck underlines typos in prompt input using local aspell/hunspell/ispell
- Safety fixes: Shift+Tab in the permission prompt's comment field no longer approves edits and grants session-wide permission; dialogs now show exact grant text and add a 'withhold - don't ask again' option
- Other fixes: whole-prompt-cache invalidation when a language server reconnects mid-session; nested markdown list misalignment at depth 3+; shifted highlights in multi-line prompts; SendMessage rejects oversized cross-session messages up front
