CERMET: Local daemon constrains model API access with policy rules
erratic_parser · reddit · 2026-08-19
The author released CERMET, a local tool designed to constrain model access to APIs. Users store tokens in a local daemon and configure syntax rules in a CERMET.md file (e.g., allow github.push where owner = "you") to filter agent requests. Currently supporting GitHub, Stripe, and Vercel, it aims to enable safe operations for smaller models.
