Hugging Face uses AI agents to reproduce 2,200 ICML papers openly

During the ICML reproduction challenge, 1,221 humans teamed up with coding agents to reproduce 2,226 papers in 19 days. The process generated 6,816 public logbooks and launched 2,962 cloud jobs on the Hugging Face Hub. This demonstrates that AI agents are now using the platform to collaborate on science, ensuring open and verifiable research.
