Agent Governance Shifts to Device Level with mimOE Engine Release
shashib · x · 2026-08-18
mimik's analysis reveals that over 80% of multi-agent workflow operations (discovery, coordination, routing) are CPU-bound, with less than 20% requiring GPU inference. This shifts hardware requirements from raw throughput to identity, permissions, and interoperability.
To address this, mimik released mimOE, an operating engine sitting above the chip. It has been deployed on two distinct markets: AMD's Ryzen AI Embedded X100 for industrial robotics and Intel-powered AI PCs running OpenVINO.
