IIT Madras explores human curiosity and scientific discovery in the age of AI
ravi_iitm · x · 2026-08-18
IIT Madras' Wadhwani School of Data Science and AI hosts an event exploring the intersection of AI, human curiosity, and scientific discovery. As AI systems get better at answering questions, the critical question becomes what happens to the human instinct to ask them: does curiosity survive contact with a machine that already has the answer, or does it change shape entirely? The event features physicists, AI researchers, and science writers.
