Claude Code has built-in MCP server for cross-agent tooling

Claude Code has included a built-in MCP server since the initial support for MCP was added. By running the command claude mcp serve, users can access the full suite of tooling from another agent harness. It also allows enabling specific tools to optimize for token usage and capability.
