Palo Alto Networks CEO: there's massive alpha on LinkedIn and nobody is paying attention

Palo Alto Networks CEO Nikesh Arora shared his approach to spotting talent: he hired his general counsel off LinkedIn. In his words, "there's massive alpha on LinkedIn and nobody else is paying attention."
His reasoning: people aren't interviewing when they post on LinkedIn, so reading years of someone's writing tells you who they are and whether they're intelligent — no questions needed. A half-hour in-room meeting then serves as the final check. He frames it as part of his broader AI and information strategy.
