wtfzambo · reddit · 2026-08-18
A developer, sick of AI's writing style — needlessly long sentences and weird words like "load-bearing" — released speak-like-you-eat, an open-source Pi plugin that converts AI-flavored output into simple human language, inspired by a similar claude-code plugin.
In the FAQ, he explains why plain prompting approaches like i-have-adhd or caveman aren't enough: they're less effective in long contexts, and the AI tends to forget the instruction over time. Available on GitHub.
