Researchers launch benchmark to capture 'research taste' and选题 intuition
lateinteraction · x · 2026-08-18
Researchers are building a benchmark to capture 'research taste'—the undocumented decision of which prior work is worth building on. They aim to gather these insights before they become common knowledge in pretraining data. The organizers estimate at least 10,000 eligible authors worldwide and are calling for participation to build this public resource.
