TraceMotive v0.3: Local-first debugger finds first evidence-supported divergence in AI agents

Ruca_AI · reddit · 2026-08-16

Released v0.3 of TraceMotive, an open-source, local-first debugger for AI agent executions. It solves the pain point of comparing successful vs. failed runs by structurally aligning traces to identify the first evidence-supported behavioral divergence (e.g., tool input/output changes, errors). The design avoids fake certainty, explicitly marking results as uncertain if alignment isn't safe. It runs entirely locally with no telemetry. A deterministic demo requiring no API key is available via pip install.
