opencode-acpx: drive Cursor, Claude, Codex and other ACP agents from OpenCode
intellectronica · x · 2026-08-16
intellectronica has released opencode-acpx 0.0.1, an open-source plugin built on @steipete's acpx that connects any ACP-supporting agent to OpenCode as a custom provider — letting you drive Cursor, Claude, Codex, Grok, Hermes and more directly from the OpenCode TUI or desktop apps.
The plugin discovers each agent's models, preserves its stateful session, and streams reasoning, tool calls, plans, todos and subagent activity through OpenCode; model-specific reasoning effort and fast-mode controls surface as normal OpenCode variants. No changes to OpenCode or the ACP agent are required. Built-in presets include cursor (via cursor-agent acp, requires separate Cursor install/auth) and claude (bundled Claude Agent ACP adapter).
