INSIDE Framework Accepted to COLM 2026: Modeling Student Reasoning

Introduces INSIDE (Internal Student Dialogue), a student modeling framework that enables LLM student simulators to model not only student actions (WHAT) but also their latent reasoning (WHY). By simulating internal dialogue, it provides more faithful and explainable behavioral simulations.
