In a conversation with MongoDB's CTO, OpenAI's Developer Experience Engineer Jason Liu discussed the future of building production-grade AI agents. He suggested that once AI systems can run continuously for a month, our relationship with computing will change dramatically and rapidly.
In this paradigm, the core responsibility of developers shifts: instead of writing specific logic, the focus is on clearly defining 'what success looks like' and providing models with superior data access to autonomously complete tasks.
