LlamaIndex Launches LlamaExtract Agentic Plus for Complex Enterprise Document Extraction

LlamaIndex founder Jerry Liu announced the launch of LlamaExtract Agentic Plus, a comprehensive document extraction agent combining a specialized model with a harness engine. It is designed to convert complex, lengthy real-world enterprise documents into clean, grounded, and structured outputs.
Alongside the product, the team introduced ExtractBench, a benchmark evaluating extraction tasks on complex enterprise documents. It tests various dimensions including document length, cross-page tables, perception of scanned/handwritten text, and diverse business domains. The company claims it offers superior accuracy at 25-50% of the cost of competing coding agent harnesses.
