Google Launches Pixel 11: On-device AI 3.5x Faster, Powered by Tensor G6
智东西 · wechat · 2026-08-13
At Made by Google 2026, Google officially launched the Pixel 11 series alongside the Pixel Watch 5 and the new Pixel Tag tracker. The new Pixels feature the custom Tensor G6 chip and Gemini Nano model, boosting on-device AI processing speeds by up to 3.5x while reducing power consumption to a third.
Deep AI Integration
Gemini can process multi-step tasks across 40+ apps and proactively offer contextual suggestions. The new Rambler voice input filters out filler words to transcribe cleanly, while Magic Capture analyzes 400 frames to grab the perfect shot. Additionally, Gboard now supports real-time sign-language-to-text using a DeepMind model.
Hardware & Pricing
The Pixel 11 Pro series introduces a HiLight LED on the back to indicate Gemini's listening/thinking states. Camera improvements include a 56% boost in main sensor light sensitivity and up to 120x zoom. Despite no foundational model generational leap, base prices are implicitly raised by $100 compared to the previous generation.
