Mathematician Reflects on AI: It Generates Correct but 'Alien' Mathematical Results

A mathematician shared profound observations on using AI for research. While AI can undoubtedly produce mathematical results much faster, he refrains from publishing these half-baked outputs immediately.
He noted that AI is starting to generate results that belong nowhere—correct conclusions that seem 'alien' and weird, outside the current human mathematical lore. He predicts that among these AI-generated results, young mathematicians will find their questions for tomorrow. AI won't solve cherished old conjectures but will open entirely new directions.
