Responding to dhh's view on the unstoppable advantage of open-source combined with AI agents, the author agrees and further argues that any workflow requiring human-in-the-loop approval—especially around tool use configuration—is ultimately going to zero. Fully automated execution in AI agent workflows is the inevitable future.
