Temasek Buys Samsung and SK Hynix, Bets on Undervalued AI Memory Chips

Temasek, one of Asia's largest sovereign wealth funds, is making its first-ever investment in the Korean stock market by buying into Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix.
Temasek reportedly believes that within the artificial intelligence (AI) value chain, memory semiconductors are currently the most undervalued segment. Industry sources noted that Temasek has a long-term investment style of deploying heavy capital into market-leading industries, and memory chips play a crucial role in the AI compute boom.
